7IM has announced that its low-cost Passive Model Portfolios are now available to advisers on Quilter’s investment platform.

Having launched in December, this move means the Passive portfolio range, previously known as 7IM Pathway, is now available across 12 different platforms.

Managed by 7IM’s experienced Investment Management Team, the Passive model portfolios are underpinned by the firm’s proven strategic asset allocation (SAA) framework and rigorous risk management process.

The range consists of five portfolios, each designed to suit a variety of client risk profiles. At the start of this year 7IM announced it was cutting VAT across its entire model portfolio range, with the Passive range maintaining an ultra-low cost of 0.15%.

The 7IM model portfolio range consists of its Passive, Active, Blended and Responsible Choice portfolios.

Verona Kenny (pictured), Managing Director, Intermediary at 7IM said: “We are delighted that our passive portfolio range is now available to advisers on Quilter’s platform. Our portfolios provide a cost-effective and simple way for advisers to access a well-diversified solution to a variety of client needs and we are pleased to be increasing their accessibility.

“Diversification has never been more important and there is an increasing appetite for low-cost multi-asset portfolios that break away from the traditional equities and bonds split. 7IM is a firm believer that genuinely diversified multi-asset portfolios a much clearer role in today’s prevailing environment of low bond yields, negative debt piles, and returning inflation. We look forward to bringing these strategies to a wider group of advisers.”

Karen Blatchford, distribution director at Quilter’s investment platform comments: “Our aim is to offer advisers choice, control and flexibility to service their clients’ needs and we’re pleased to add 7IM’s passive portfolios to our platform to further expand the available investment propositions.”
