Benchmark, a leading provider of financial planning solutions and part of the Schroders Group, today announces that it has joined the Initiative for Financial Wellbeing (“IFW”) as a Partner Member.
The IFW, a not-for-profit organisation, was launched in 2019 to support the financial planning profession with financial wellbeing initiatives, and currently has c.300 members across the financial advice, planning and coaching community.
This partnership will provide Benchmark’s high-quality advice firms with access to leading-edge financial wellbeing practices, resources and research to continue to develop their client propositions and relationships. With support from the IFW, a programme of activities has been developed to support advisers with actionable insights to help clients become more engaged and happier with their financial plans, and not just wealthier.
Nick Marsh, IFW CEO, commented:
“We are delighted to welcome Benchmark and feel privileged to have another leading firm in the sector join us in making a commitment to being part of the positive change that is gathering pace throughout the industry.”
Ed Dymott, Managing Director Wealth, Benchmark, commented:
“We are delighted to join the Initiative for Financial Wellbeing as a partner firm. As a chartered financial planner, with over 1500 leading advisers, we recognise that understanding and improving people’s financial well-being is a key purpose of our profession. The IFW has brought together some of the leading financial planners to develop best practice, and we are excited to play a role in the development of their plans and help our partner firms engage in this initiative.”
