Julius Bayer has taken on Julian Cooper from Barclays as Senior Client Relationship Manager.

Cooper started with Barclays in 1993 and during his time there, he led the Entrepreneurs team and was a Board Director of Barclays Private Bank. Before Barclays, he worked at Natwest Markets, NM Rothschild and KPMG. A Chartered Accountant, he graduated from Cambridge with a dual degree in Economics and History.

Cooper will be supported by Patricia Newton, also from Barclays, and Christian Rasmussen, who joins from Lombard Odier as Relationship Manager. The three will report to Annabel Bosman, Head of Relationship Management UK.

Annabel Bosman commented: “We are delighted to welcome bankers of such reputation and calibre who will help us focus on our growth in the UK market, which remains key to our long-term strategy. Julian, Patricia and Christian bring with them a deep understanding of HNW and UHNW families in the UK and their hiring underlines our commitment to our UK clients.”
