In this session, Rob Hardy, Head of Corporate Governance at J.P. Morgan Asset Management will discuss the importance of corporate engagement, increasing regulation and evolving client needs, as well as the impact on portfolio returns.

Hardy has been with J.P. Morgan since 1996, and is responsible for implementing the firm’s corporate governance policy. He is also a specialist in engaging with companies on governance and sustainability issues. He advises analysts and portfolio managers regarding the governance profiles of the companies in which they invest. Previously, he worked at Phillips and Drew for three years, after obtaining a BA in French from the University of East Anglia.

Robert is a member of the NAPF Shareholder Affairs Committee and the International Corporate Governance Network.
