Crowdfest is nearly upon us.

The major crowd funding event is a conference, exhibition and workshop all rolled into one, and takes place on 19 and 20 October, 2016 at the Shoreditch Town Hall, London.

Those wishing to attend Crowdfest will have to hurry, as places are going fast.

It’s organised in partnership with The UK Crowdfunding Association and boasts 62 speaks, including Darren Westlake (co-founder and CEO of Crowdcube); Will King (founder, King of Shaves); and, Baroness Susan Kramer, Liberal Democrat Economic Spokesperson and former entrepreneur.

Crowdfest aims to provide the perfect platform to reach and influence a large audience of investors, SMEs, finance professionals, marketers, entrepreneurs and opinion-formers.

The event has eight specialist tracks so that attendees can focus on the issues which interests them most. These are:

  • Investors
  • SMEs
  • Charities
  • Property developers
  • CleanTech
  • Gaming
  • IFAs
  • Islamic Finance

Attendees can also enjoy being a part of a larger audience for some of the keynote and interactive sessions.

A statement from the organisers said: “Crowd funding is transforming the way we do business.  Not just by providing access to wider sources of finance, but also through helping companies innovate, connect with their customers, build market share and create loyalty. And it’s not just start-ups who are embracing this new technology.  Increasingly, major corporations are realising that they too can benefit from this revolution, no matter what their industry.

“Specialist platforms now support everything from technology, education, charities and healthcare to infrastructure, property, consumer products and entertainment. Crowdfest is your opportunity to discover how you too can become involved and learn how crowd funding can play a key role in your business strategy. The most comprehensive event of its kind, Crowdfest will be packed with fresh ideas, opportunities and knowledge and is supported by both industry and government.”
