Two former Bellpenny advisers have been recruited by Foster Denovo.

Martin Hellier and Nick Oram join Foster Denovo, the national firm of advisers, as partners.

Hellier joins Secondsight, the employee benefits division of Foster Denovo. He will report to Ian Bird, Director of Business Development, and be responsible for supporting the sales function, as well as helping to coach staff members.

Hellier’s previous positions include time at Mercer and Alexander Forbes. He said: “I was keen to work with a forward-thinking business, and was impressed by Foster Denovo. The company offers some excellent ‘future proofed’ propositions, such as Mybenefitsatwork, and it’s great to be part of such a strong and professional team.”

Oram joins as a Partner on the employee benefits side. He has specialised in group pensions and group risk with companies such as HSBC, JLT and Marsh. He said: “I am a firm believer in the need for employers to strongly communicate their benefits with their staff, and the work that Secondsight does through its financial education programme is second-to-none. The company takes a very strategic approach to how benefits should be delivered in the workplace. It is great to be provided with the opportunity to develop my career through the company’s growing and loyal client base.”

Foster Denovo CEO Roger Brosch said: “Together Martin and Nick have vast industry experience, and we are thrilled they have decided to join us in helping to further develop our employee benefits proposition. These are exciting times for the business, as we continue to grow through partnerships and via our recruitment programme.”
