Jenson Funding Partners have appointed RAM Capital Partners to promote the latest tranche of their SEIS Fund.  Jenson have been pioneers in the field of SEIS having launched its first offer at the inception of the Scheme in 2012.

To date, Jenson have invested in 100 early stage SEIS qualifying companies and have successfully had four cash exits, one with part shares with a potential to reach 12 times return and an additional return of deferred consideration.  Although SEIS investing is high risk with a predicted high failure rate, from Jenson’s 100 investments 32 companies are no longer trading – relatively low by SEIS standards.

Matt Ellams, Portfolio Director at Jenson Funding Partners, commented: “We are delighted to be working with the team at RAM as they are the leading specialists in the field of marketing tax efficient structures such as the SEIS, EIS and VCTs to the financial intermediary community.  Working with RAM, we hope to be able to increase the awareness of our SEIS product and the strength of the Jenson team”.

Lenny Norstrand, Partner at RAM Capital, added: “RAM is pleased to be adding the Jenson SEIS Fund to its portfolio of tax efficient solutions for the 2019/20 tax year. SEIS remains a cornerstone in the development of growth orientated companies for the UK economy and we are excited to be promoting such an experienced team operating in this sector.”
