An IFA based in Leicester has won the title of Wealth Management IFA of the Year. It was awarded by 2plan, one of the UK’s leading national networks with over 260 professions.

Lee Martin received the accolade at the annual 2plan Wealth Management Awards which took place recently in York. Martin, who is based in Burbage, Leicestershire, is no stranger to picking up awards, having won the 750k Club Award last year for being the first person to write £750,000 of new business. He has also won the TCF Adviser of the Year in 2009, Mortgage Adviser of the Year in 2010, Outstanding Contribution to 2Plan in 2011, the 500K Club Award in 2012 and another Outstanding Contribution to 2Plan Award in 2013.

Martin said: “I’m delighted to win this major award and be recognised by my peers at 2plan. I’m fortunate to work with some fantastic colleagues and this strong platform has allowed us to help a growing number of clients to understand and realise the benefits of our strategic financial advice.”

CEO of 2plan wealth management Chris Smallwood said: “We have a strong team of IFAs across the country so for Lee to win this top award is testament to the very high standards that he reaches and exceeds. We are delighted for him and are confident that he will continue to deliver an award-winning service to his growing number of clients.”
