LGBR Capital has launched a new series of educational seminars for advisers.

Running throughout Q3, the CPD accredited seminar series of 16 nationwide events will focus on Inheritance Tax Planning (IHT). They are designed to provide a refresher on the IHT rules and help advisers, and their clients, plan for the 2017/18 tax year.

LGBR works in partnership with investment managers in the tax-efficient investment sector to develop and distribute innovative products to investment intermediaries.

Jack Rose, Head of the Tax-Efficient Division at LGBR Capital, will lead the seminars.

He said: “Planning ahead for the next generation is important and an understanding of the IHT landscape can potentially avoid families being left with inheritance problems to unpick and possibly a tax bill to pay.

“Feedback from advisers showed that they wanted to gain a better understanding of the different tax-efficient investment options and associated benefits, to give them clarity on the rules and help them stay abreast of the latest legislation, which would allow them to feel confident about recommending such products to their clients. Our seminar series is designed to do just that and we look forward to meeting advisers across the UK in Q3.”
