Chris Lee has been appointed Head of UK Sales & Business Development at Morningstar.

In this expanded role, Lee, who was Morningstar’s Head of Redistribution Sales for EMEA, will be responsible for maintaining and developing the commercial relationships for all Morningstar products and services in the UK.

Prior to joining Morningstar in 2014, Lee was Sales Director at Interactive Data. He replaces Paul Malone, who in February assumed the role of Morningstar’s UK CEO & West EMEA Regional Leader, after previously serving as Head of UK Sales & Business Development.

Malone said: “With more than 20 years of sales experience, Chris brings a wealth of knowledge in successfully managing teams with a rigorous and disciplined approach to pipeline building, prospect management, and opportunity closing. We are thrilled to have Chris step into this expanded role as we continue to develop innovative solutions for investors.”
