Daniel Neep has been brought in by Close Brothers Asset Management to strengthen relationships with IFAs in the North East.

Neep, who becomes Business Development Director, moves from Aegon where he was running a specialist sales team. He has also worked for Axa Wealth supporting the growth of its multi-asset investment proposition.

Neep has worked extensively with intermediaries in the North East and has over 15 years’ experience in business development.

He will promote the firm’s investment proposition in the North East, ensuring intermediaries are supported in providing their clients with the best possible service levels.

Neep said: “I’ve spent my career to date developing relationships with intermediaries, implementing investment solutions for strategic accounts across the region. CBAM stood out as a company that offers a really compelling discretionary fund management proposition for intermediaries, and I’m excited to help extend the reach of this proposition across the North East.”

Director of Intermediary Sales at Close Brothers Asset Management Darren Saddler said: “The North East is a key area of growth for CBAM and Daniel’s experience in this region stands us in great stead to develop relationships with intermediaries in this area. We are firmly committed to the intermediary market and pride ourselves on the quality of the service we provide to advisers and their clients.”
