new financial planner

Jane Garrick has joined Tilney’s Birmingham office as a chartered financial planner.

Garrick moves from Santander where she was a private banker for two years, managing a portfolio of 250 clients, offering regulated investment advice. Before that, she spent over 25 years at Lloyds Banking Group, mostly recently holding the position of private banking manager.

Garrick will deliver advice as part of the firm’s ‘two expert’ approach. This sees financial planners paired alongside the firm’s investment managers to provide an integrated wealth management service to clients.

Regional head of financial planning at Tilney Rob Chandler said: “With our recruitment drive continuing into the second half of this year, we will be looking for individuals who and contribute to Tilney’s growth while maintain our high standards of service for clients. Jane offers exactly that – she has a long history of building excellent relationships with her clients, as well as professional connections, and will make an exceptional addition to our growing financial planning team.”
