Wolverhampton based Newell Palmer has made its second acquisition of 2017, acquiring Wright Financial Planning.
The deal adds 80 active clients to Newell Palmer’s client base. Wright is based in Stafford, and has offered planning advice and wealth management services to clients in surrounding areas for 17 years. Norrie Wright, Principal of Wright Financial Planning, has decided to retire.
Newell Palmer has completed 40 acquisitions since 1998 and continues to pursue a growth strategy.
Newell Palmer Finance Director Kevin Homfray, said: “We took a small break from acquisitions while our teams here focused on our recent CRM system upgrade to Intelligent Office.
”I’m pleased that we have completed on the deal with Norrie, and now we are keen to press ahead with further acquisitions lined up before the end of the year.”
Wright said: “Selling my business wasn’t a decision that came easy but ultimately I’ve decided to retire from the advisory industry.
