Origo appoints Head of Marketing Communications

Origo, the critical infrastructure fintech provider to the pensions and lifetime savings industry, has appointed Aileen Caskie as Head of Marketing Communications.

Aileen is a CIM qualified Chartered Marketer and communications practitioner, with extensive multi-sector experience, most notably in the technology, energy and financial services sectors, working in enterprises from challengers to global bluechips (RBS, Visa Europe, Barclays, BNY Mellon). She is also a proposition strategist with extensive experience of identifying, analysing and leading marketing projects.

A graduate of Stirling University with an Honours degree in English, Aileen began her career in creative and marketing agencies and in publishing, before operating as an independent marketing and communications consultant. From a London base, she worked with clients from Abu Dhabi to Paris and Edinburgh as well as the shires of England, spanning sectors including charity, energy, financial services, government, publishing and technology.

Returning to Scotland in 2013, she led the establishment of the first Member Services and Engagement Directorate in the Law Society of Scotland, before working with technology and energy companies including SSE, Royal Colleges as well as Scottish and local government.

Aileen is a Fellow of the CIM and achieved her CIM level 7 Professional Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing with Oxford College of Marketing in 2017. The College invited Aileen to be a support tutor for Level 4 and 6 students, which she did until March 2020.
