Sage appoints Aaron Harris as Chief Technology Officer

Harris joins the Sage Executive Committee after two decades leading SaaS technology at Sage Intacct


 

Sage, the market leader in cloud business management solutions, has appointed Aaron Harris to the role of Chief Technology Officer with immediate effect, reporting to Chief Executive Officer Steve Hare as part of his Executive Committee.

Previously Senior Vice President, Head of Engineering & Technology at Sage Intacct, which was acquired by Sage in 2017, this new role will see Harris expand his responsibilities to develop the technology strategy across Sage Business Cloud, leveraging emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence to improve user experience, drive business efficiency, build migration pathways, and improve connectivity of its ecosystem.

 
 

Klaus-Michael Vogelberg, who has previously held the CTO role, will remain on the Executive Committee and continue to shape the technology agenda for Sage with Harris, in the role of Chief Architect and Technology Advisor. Lee Perkins who previously ran Sage’s UK business, and more recently led the global product organisation, has been made Chief Product Officer and a member of the Executive Committee.

Steve Hare, Chief Executive Officer at Sage, said:

It has been fantastic to work closely with Aaron in his role at Sage Intacct, and I am pleased to bolster the technology experience on the Executive Committee with his appointment.’

 
 

Harris said:
