Tenet is to help employed advisers from outside Tenet who are looking to start their own business.

Labelled the ‘business in a box’ solution, it is underpinned by Tenet’s restricted proposition and will enable advisers to become self-employed with everything that they need. This might include a business development plan, supported with advertising, social media and client seminars; access to funding; IT equipment; and, a fully supported advice proposition.

Group Operations Director at Tenet Helen Ball said: “Our aim is to provide aspiring employed advisers from outside the group with everything they will need to start their own business. The solution will support advisers in delivery of a great service to their clients with help from the Tenet team to gain all the skills they need to run their own business.

“As a group, we remain fully committed to independent advice. This new solution offers a great route into the industry with the potential for new firms to move to an independent advice proposition under the Tenet umbrella as they develop and grow.”
