The financial planning industry is undergoing more challenges than ever. From the impact of the RDR and the effects of the economic downturn, to the introduction of countless legislative changes, the industry has experienced significant challenges over the last few years, both in terms of how it operates and how professionals are perceived within it.

In this short film ‘The Road to Chartered’ (made with support from both St. James’s Place and the Chartered Insurance Institute), IFA Magazine looks at how Chartered Financial Planner status is affording a growing number of St. James’s Place Partners an objective mark of professional standing on a par with other professions. The film features St. James’s Place Partners who believe that achieving Chartered status is a further demonstration of their competency, knowledge and commitment to delivering the very highest quality ongoing advice and service to their clients.
