Towry has appointed a new Chief Financial Officer.

Wadham Downing joins the financial planning and wealth management firm on Monday.

Downing will be a member of the Towry Board and report to CEO Rob Devey. He succeeds Paul Wright who will remain with the business and on the Towry Board until he retires in June next year.

 
 

Wadham moves over from Legal & General where he has held a number of senior group positions including Group CFO. He also brings with him a wealth of industry experience says Towry and prior to joining Legal & General, he spent time at Resolution Plc and Britannic Plc.

Devey said: “We are delighted to welcome Wadham to the firm at what is an exciting period in our growth following the successful acquisition and integration of Ashcourt Rowan. We have long demonstrated our commitment to hiring the best talent in the industry and Wadham brings with him significant experience that will support the next phase of our development.
