Investec Wealth & Investment has announced the appointment of Tamara Marten as Head of Corporate Executives and Professionals within Investec’s Private Office.
In her new role, Tamara will specialise in delivering comprehensive strategic wealth management services to high net worth individuals, focusing on clients in the legal and financial industries as well as corporate executives.
Tamara joins Investec Private Office with over 15 years’ experience within investment management. She started her career in FX, working with institutional and private clients at Lehman Brothers, Barclays and Citi Private Bank. She moved to wealth management as a Private Banker, covering family offices, before leading the EMEA Investments team at Citi Wealth at Work with a particular focus on legal and financial industry clients.
Commenting on her appointment, Tamara said: “Drawing on my experience of working with professional clients, I appreciate the need for efficient and simple investment advice and execution. I enjoy working closely with clients to construct investment portfolios which complement their personal and professional growth, adapting to changing risk appetites through their career progression as well as developing investment strategies to complement their in-house requirements.”

Tamara graduated with an honours degree in Economics and Finance from the University of Bristol
