Propertymark is delighted to announce the appointment of its new Presidential team following the organisation’s Annual General Meeting (AGM), as experienced industry professionals step forward to help represent members and champion the sector over the coming year.
The AGM sees President Elects formally succeed to the roles of Presidents, Vice Presidents and Board Directors who have been voted into the roles by members through Propertymark’s democratic process, and current President Elects naturally move into their new roles as Vice Presidents.
The appointments come at a pivotal moment for the property sector. With the UK Government today outlining its roadmap for improving the home buying and selling process, Propertymark’s newly elected leaders will be at the forefront of representing members, influencing industry debate and ensuring the voice of professional agents is heard as changes to the property transaction process are developed and implemented.
Propertymark extends its warmest congratulations to:
- Kim Lidbury, President of ARLA Propertymark
- Ben Stokes, President Elect of ARLA Propertymark
- Michelle Masiglat-Cook, Vice President of ARLA Propertymark
- Ian Harris, President of NAEA Propertymark
- Stuart Matthews, President Elect of NAEA Propertymark
- Craig Webster, Vice President of NAEA Propertymark
- Michael Sears, re-elected as NAEA Propertymark Board Director
The newly elected representatives reflect Propertymark’s continued commitment to ensuring members are represented by experienced professionals who are passionate about raising standards and supporting the sector.
The new Presidents take office following a successful year serving as President Elect, during which they worked closely with outgoing Presidents and Propertymark leadership to champion professionalism, support members and help drive positive change across their respective sectors.
Meanwhile, the newly elected Vice Presidents will begin their preparatory year, working alongside the Presidents and gaining valuable experience ahead of assuming their own presidential roles in the future.
Stuart Collar-Brown will continue in his role as President of NAVA Propertymark, providing ongoing leadership and representation for professionals working within the auctioneering sector.
Michael Sears, re-elected NAEA Propertymark Board Director, said:
“I am honoured to have been re-elected to the Propertymark Board and grateful for the continued confidence of members. The Board plays a crucial role in setting the strategic direction of the organisation and ensuring strong governance as we support property professionals across the UK. I look forward to continuing to work alongside colleagues on the Board, our Presidential teams and Propertymark staff to help deliver for members and maintain the highest standards across the sector.”
