M&G launches ‘PruFunded’ campaign in Manchester to show customers their long-term savings at work

M&G, a leading savings and investment firm, has launched ‘PruFunded’, a new campaign to help customers see how their savings and pensions are working for them – building confidence in long-term investing and retirement planning.

The campaign will bring to life some of the flagship investments held within M&G’s £70bn PruFund range, from shopping destinations and fast-growing UK technology businesses to one of Britain’s greenest housebuilders and regeneration projects.

Manchester Arndale is the first investment to feature in the campaign, illustrating how customers’ money is put to work within PruFund’s diversified portfolio. The campaign will use familiar, real-world examples to show how long-term savings can support businesses, jobs and communities across the UK while contributing to customers’ long-term financial outcomes.

The first phase of the ‘PruFunded’ campaign is supported by a multi-channel advertising programme built around the message: ‘Good for Manchester. Good for My Retirement.’ Featuring landmark out-of-home locations, advertising in The Times and on Smooth Radio Northwest, alongside targeted digital activity, the campaign will reach people as they live, work and travel across Greater Manchester1.

Through 5,000 financial advice firms, PruFund’s half-a-million customers are invested in local communities and economies across the UK, including Edinburgh’s £350m Haymarket regeneration project, Pragmatic Semiconductor, a fast-growing British technology company manufacturing next generation flexible semi-conductors in Durham and Greencore Homes, an Oxford-based housebuilder delivering low-carbon, energy efficient homes.
