SVV (Sure Valley Ventures), the specialist AI venture capital firm, has launched AgenticInvestor.org – a free, open-source investor platform and community designed to help venture capital (VC) firms and other private market investors move beyond AI experimentation and begin deploying AI agents across their operations.

Developed from SVV’s own investment processes, AgenticInvestor provides investors with a toolbox of practical workflows, tasks, skills and agent blueprints that can be used across more than 50 AI platforms, including OpenAI Codex, Claude Cowork, Alludium and Microsoft Copilot. At launch, this includes the Deal Pipeline Blueprint, with 20 tasks and 19 skills covering areas like investment screening, opportunity evaluation and IC memo creation. The workflows are designed to reduce repeatable work across the investment lifecycle, while supporting, not replacing, human investment judgment.

While most venture firms in Europe have begun experimenting with AI, with 34% using it to summarise due diligence materials and 26% to identify relevant deals, the harder step is moving from asking a chatbot questions to embedding agents into repeatable workflows. SVV believes that publishing the workflows it uses and building a platform based around knowledge-sharing can raise the productivity floor across venture, giving investors more time to evaluate opportunities, build conviction and support founders. The release is deliberately free and uses open-source standards.

Early findings from SVV’s own implementation point to efficiency gains across the investment process. Company screening, for example, is now completed twice as quickly, while the team has also seen substantial time savings in preparing diligence packs and following up with founders, alongside improvements in the accuracy and consistency of CRM records. The workflows are designed to support, not replace, human investment judgement.

“Venture capital is about to undergo the biggest operating model shift in its history. Most firms are still using AI as a research assistant. We believe the next stage is agentic execution, where AI systems carry out meaningful work throughout the investment process. We’ve spent the last year building and refining these workflows inside SVV, and AgenticInvestor is our way of sharing what we’ve learned – and collaborating with the wider investor community.

“As investors, time is our most valuable asset, but too much of it gets taken up by repeatable operational work. AgenticInvestor is about giving firms that time back, while building a community where investors can share what works and learn from each other.”

Barry Downes, Managing Partner of SVV, and Founder of AgenticInvestor

AgenticInvestor’s initiative reflects SVV’s broader commitment to advancing practical AI adoption. Since 2017, the firm has invested in AI software companies and has developed deep expertise in how emerging AI technologies can transform business operations.
