FSCSOr boots, should we say? The indefatigable Gill Cardy, former CEO of the IFA Centre and staunch defender of the smaller IFA, is putting her boots on this week, in support of the Veterans Charity, which provides help and care to ex-servicemen throughout the UK. How does 139 miles of footslogging sound to you?

Yes, for five glorious days the FCA can relax in the secure knowledge that Gill will be Bulford bound instead of kicking Martin Wheatley. (Enjoy it while it lasts, guys.) And she’ll be hugely grateful for any support you can give this outstandingly deserving charity.

You can donate:

By texting “FNKY50 £5” to 70070 . (You can of course vary the amount if you’re feeling particularly flush.)

By visiting www.virginmoneygiving.com/gill_cardy

The Forces March is one of the UK’s top endurance events. Runners and walkers cover more than 139 miles in five, highly demanding and challenging stages over five days from Ilfracombe, North Devon to Bulford, Wiltshire. Details at www.forcesmarch.org.uk/

Good luck Gill!
