Propertymark is urging qualified and passionate members from across the property sector to put themselves forward for election to its Board of Directors and Vice Presidential roles for the 2026/27 term.
The annual leadership elections present an exciting opportunity for members to influence the strategic direction of the UK’s leading property professional body. Nominations are open for member-elected Board Directors and Vice Presidents for the sales (NAEA Propertymark) and lettings (ARLA Propertymark) divisions, roles that play a vital part in representing members’ voices and driving standards across the industry.
Why stand for election?
Vice Presidents form the first stage in a three-year leadership pathway, progressing to President-Elect and, ultimately, division President. These roles enable members to:
- Act as national ambassadors for the profession.
- Represent agent perspectives in media, events, and industry forums.
- Share insight and feedback from across the membership.
- Chair divisional Advisory Panels and regional executive meetings.
- Contribute directly to policy, campaign development and professional standards.
Board Directors play a central role in helping to set Propertymark’s strategic priorities, ensure long-term sustainability, and safeguard member interests at the highest level. Member-elected Directors serve an initial four-year term and help steer the organisation through a rapidly evolving property landscape.
“Member voices lie at the heart of Propertymark’s success,” said Nathan Emerson, CEO of Propertymark. “Whether as a Board Director or within our Presidential Teams, these voluntary leadership roles allow agents to help shape the profession, elevate standards, and ensure Propertymark remains responsive to the needs of its members.”
Nominations will be reviewed by an independent panel, with shortlisted candidates progressing to a member ballot ahead of announcement at the Annual General Meeting.
Members wishing to stand for election must submit their nominations by 6 March. Full details, eligibility criteria and application forms are available at:
