Ryanair February passenger numbers plunge 95%

Budget carrier Ryanair said passenger numbers slumped 95% in February year on year, as Covid-19 pandemic travel bans hammered the business.
Passenger volumes in February plunged to 0.5 million, down from 10.5 million in February 2020.

On a rolling annual basis, the airline said it carried 32.7m passengers compared with 153.8m a year ago. Ryanair operated around 6% of its normal February schedule with a 78% load factor.
