The Enterprise Investment Scheme and Seed (SEIS) continue to play fundamental roles in supporting some of the most exciting new businesses and fuelling innovation across the UK. Together they have now accounted for £30 billion of private investment into more than 53,000 businesses.
2024 is particularly special as it marks 30 years since the ElS was created. Tens of thousands of businesses existing today are able to secure their initial investment thanks to the scheme, and many are now household names, having an important impact on our day-to-day lives.
