Join us for our next live webinar where we’ll be looking into Fixed Income investments along with our expert panellists from Legal & General Investment Management (LGIM). In particular, we’ll be looking at how Fixed Income can be used as an efficient and effective diversifier within MPS and help deliver a robust asset allocation strategy for the long term.
Jointly chairing the webinar will be IFA Magazine Editor, Sue Whitbread and Senior Financial Journalist, Jenny Hunter.
On the agenda will be:
- A review of current economic factors: How is the current economic environment impacting Fixed Income markets globally, and how does that affect your asset allocation choices within your MPS strategy? When might we see global interest rates start to fall and what is likely to be the impact of this? What about the outlook for inflation?
- Key opportunities and threats presented by Fixed Income exposure: What are these within MPS currently, particularly given today’s challenging market environment? We’ll examine the old 60/40 asset allocation model and also the concentration conundrum in global equity markets, discussing ways of achieving diversification to manage risk.
- The product landscape: Is MPS just a ‘one size fits all’ strategy? How has MPS evolved to offer more choice and flexibility to suit differing client needs? We’ll be looking at the role of both active and passive approaches, the importance of costs and many other key factors underpinning suitability, product due diligence and making the right choice for your client’s needs.
Both of the expert panellists joining us on the day are fund managers at LGIM. Francis Chua is a Fund Manager responsible for managing LGIM’s Model Portfolio Service and Multi-Manager Funds as well as assisting in the management of the Multi-Index funds. Aimee Bowkett is a Fund Manager responsible for managing LGIM’s Model Portfolio Service and assisting in the management of the Multi-Manager Funds.
