Symvan Capital marks its 5th portfolio company exit

Symvan Capital (“Symvan”), Manager of the Symvan Technology EIS and SEIS Funds announces today that it has reached a milestone of its 5th portfolio company exit.

Symvan is an award-winning London based VC Manager, with extensive experience in curating innovative tech and software solutions that has led to an established investment strategy and multiple exits.

Symvan’s investment portfolio focuses on B2B SaaS companies harnessing AI and other enabling technologies.

Although the Symvan team has extensive IPO experience, all of the exits from Symvan’s portfolio have been to strategic purchasers, although there have been numerous private equity discussions recently.

Symvan’s latest exit refers to their investment in a communication technology company, where they have now sold 100% of their holding, generating a 1.3x return for initial investors, resulting in an aggregate net return of 2.56x when including the generous tax reliefs.

Kealan Doyle, CEO at Symvan said: “Our 5th exit indicates a strong start to the third quarter for Symvan, building on the positive momentum created by a number of divestments through 2023. The M&A market has been stunted by recent macro pressures, however we are seeing signs of a resurgence as both strategic investors and private equity are seeking value from defensive acquisitions and growth opportunities”.
