Conveyancing distributor, conveybuddy, has today announced the completion of the full technology integration of Talbots Law into its platform, further expanding its network of fully-integrated conveyancing firm partners.

The integration means advisers instructing Talbots Law through conveybuddy will benefit from a seamless transfer of case information directly into the firm’s case management system, removing the need for duplicate data entry and enabling transaction information and updates to be viewed in real-time.

Talbots Law is an employee-owned practice covering Worcestershire, Shropshire, Cheshire and the West Midlands; each year it helps over 20,000 people move home, placing it in the top 10 law firms in the country for conveyancing by volume. Talbots Law service conveybuddy advisers and their clients from its Waterfront office in Brierley Hill, near Dudley.

Talbots Law joins a growing number of fully-integrated firms across the conveybuddy panel, including Advantage Property Lawyers, Chadwick Lawrence, Fidler and Pepper, Gorvins and Your Conveyancer, with these integrated partners now accounting for approximately 80% of all cases instructed through the

platform.

The Moving Portal, conveybuddy’s survey partner, is also fully integrated, providing the same streamlined experience for survey instructions.

Conveybuddy said the integration meant systems were now connected through API technology, enabling advisers to benefit from real-time case milestones, richer progress updates and provider notes, reducing the need to chase for information while ensuring clients receive more accurate and timely updates throughout the transaction.

The integration also automates exchange and completion notifications, ensuring broker commission payments are triggered immediately once cases complete, while removing much of the manual administration traditionally associated with conveyancing.

Launched in 2024, conveybuddy provides a technology-enabled panel management service supported by over 80 years’ combined conveyancing distribution experience. It offers advisers a transparent and streamlined solution across sale, purchase, and remortgage, including its all-inclusive remortgage proposition, and survey cases.

“Technology, used correctly, can remove friction from the conveyancing process. Every time information has to be entered into multiple systems, there is an opportunity for delays, duplication and simple human error. By fully integrating with Talbots Law, advisers who use conveybuddy can instruct cases knowing the information flows directly into their case management system, allowing work to begin immediately without unnecessary administration.

With this full integration of Talbots now complete, we have reached the point where around 80% of our instructed cases are handled by fully-integrated firms, which is a significant milestone for us. It demonstrates our commitment to removing unnecessary administration, improving communication and giving advisers and their clients a smoother, more transparent purchase or remortgage experience.

We would urge all advisers to make sure they are providing conveyancing advice to their clients, not least because of the sheer number of benefits for both the advisory firm and the client base. It can be a significant income generator, place the adviser in a stronger client-relationship position, and ensure they retain both that client and benefit from the recommendations and referrals which should follow. In our view, it’s a no-brainer, and we would urge advisers to contact us to see how we can support them in this key area.”

Harpal Singh, CEO at conveybuddy

“We are very pleased to have completed our full integration with conveybuddy. Removing manual processes benefits both our teams and adviser users by improving the speed and accuracy of information shared throughout the transaction. It enables us to deliver an even better experience for advisers and their clients while allowing all stakeholders to focus on progressing cases rather than carrying out unnecessary administration.”

Callum Haynes, Sales Director at Talbots Law
