Netwealth Investments, the discretionary wealth manager, has appointed Edward Bonham Carter (above), Vice Chairman of Jupiter Fund Management, and Merryn Somerset Webb, FT Columnist and editor-in-chief of MoneyWeek, as non-executive directors.

Edward has been working in the investment industry for over thirty five years and has extensive knowledge of the fund management market. Merryn, who has acted as advisor to the firm since launch, is one of the best-known commentators on personal finance and has deep insight into the UK’s financial consumers. Both appointments bring a breadth of experience and perspective which will add significantly to Netwealth as we expand our reach in the UK.”

The pair join Michael Hartweg, the co-founder of Leonteq, as non-executive directors. The other board members are Netwealth co-founders Ransom and Thomas Salter, Chief Operating Officer.
