CIExpert is delighted to announce the launch of its new Insight Zone Dashboard, the latest step in its mission to equip advisers with practical tools that save time, improve understanding, and support better client outcomes.
This new development acts as an overview for the existing Insight Zone pages for Critical Illness (CI), Income Protection (IP), and Life cover, by providing a smart, centralised access hub for easy navigation to the different insurers, but most significantly provides a wealth of new insight features to keep users informed and up to date. With a ‘news’ area for the latest product updates as they come in, industry-wide claims data, campaign information, and a growing library of educational resources, it has all been carefully structured using user experience (UX) design principles to make an adviser’s life easier.
Drawing on insights from CIExpert’s Critical Thinking research and direct adviser feedback, the dashboard is specifically designed to meet the evolving needs of both experienced advisers and those new to the profession.
Natalie Mayne, Creative Director at CIExpert, commented:
“The Insight Zone has brought real clarity to our users for CI, IP, and Life policies over recent years. We know how time-consuming it can be to navigate multiple insurer sites. This new dashboard offers a user-friendly way to explore product updates, insights, and learning resources – all in one place. We’ve also seen through our Critical Thinking LIVE webinars how valuable peer experience is, and this platform brings that shared learning directly into the Insight Zones.”
The dashboard not only simplifies access and understanding of product updates but also plays a critical role in raising adviser awareness of key market trends and challenges that directly impact client conversations. In an increasingly complex protection landscape, timely, well-presented information is essential for delivering advice that truly meets clients’ needs.
A prime example is CIExpert’s Single is Best campaign, developed from the Critical Thinking research. This initiative challenged long-standing industry assumptions around joint life policies, helping advisers identify where single life cover can provide significantly better long-term value and protection. By bringing this kind of insight to the forefront, the dashboard enables advisers to question established approaches and explore alternative solutions that better serve their clients, based on the needs of today.
The newly created ‘Learning & Resources’ area within the dashboard reinforces this focus on education-driven support. Advisers can stay informed about campaigns like Single is Best, access supporting analysis and tools, and learn from peer insights gathered through CIExpert’s Critical Thinking LIVE webinars. This deliberate shift toward continuous learning helps advisers enhance their expertise and deliver more confident, client-focused recommendations.
The dashboard is fully accessible through CIExpert’s new integration with Iress (The Exchange and Xplan Mortgage platforms) and via major distributor platforms, making it a key resource that’s highly accessible in a workflow, for quick-look insights and ongoing learning.
As CIExpert continues to expand its platform, the dashboard will grow in both content and functionality, reinforcing the company’s commitment to smarter protection advice and continuous professional development.
Paula Bertram-Lax, Chief Customer & People Officer at LifeSearch, said:
“CIExpert’s Insight Zones have been a key part of every LifeSearch adviser’s protection toolkit for years. They give us detailed, up-to-date actionable analysis across the full market for life, critical illness, and an impressive number of income protection insurers – all verified by the insurers themselves.
Their new dashboard makes it even easier for our advisers to access insurer information in one place, and their growing ‘knowledge base’ helps us have better, more informed protection conversations with clients. CIExpert plays a valuable role in helping us give clear, trusted advice.”
