JM Finn & Co has developed a new office in Bury St Edmunds.

It follows the merger of the Bury St Edmunds and Ipswich teams, and celebrates the investment manager’s tenth anniversary of its presence in East Anglia.

The firm said that the new office incorporates the ground floor space at the existing site on Abbeygate Street in Bury St Edmunds and provides staff with an improved working environment.

The office will house eleven investment managers handling over £1 billion of client assets on behalf of nearly 2,500 clients.

Head of the East Anglian Branch Brett Bayliss said: “Bringing together the two teams will provide additional benefits on all levels. Our existing clients will have a hugely improved site in which to meet with us in Bury, and for those clients located in Ipswich, we will retain an office with meeting space.  Our investment managers will benefit from sharing administrative resources and a wider breadth of intellectual capital to bounce investment ideas off, and in addition, we will be able to provide a more coordinated approach to servicing the flourishing intermediary community across the region.”

CEO of JM Finn & Co Steven Sussman said: “Having two branches in East Anglia gave us a great presence in the region, but to be able to capitalise on the opportunity to increase the Bury office makes sense for the business, our clients and our 20 local staff.”
