David Hynam, LV= Chief Executive Officer, has been recognised in Involve’s Role Model Hall of Fame, celebrating his consistent and visible leadership in advocating and role modelling inclusivity.

The Hall of Fame celebrates role models who have demonstrated long‑term dedication to advancing inclusion and who have appeared in Involve’s role‑model lists for three consecutive years. David has been welcomed into the Hall of Fame for both the Outstanding Executives and Heroes Advocates categories, which acknowledge long‑term leadership impact in advancing LGBTQ+ inclusion and gender equality at the most senior levels.

In parallel with this Hall of Fame recognition, David has also achieved a unique distinction: he is the only senior leader to have featured across all four of Involve’s national role model lists – Outstanding, Heroes, Empower and Enable. He was named number one global Outstanding Executive in 2024, reflecting the depth, breadth and longevity of his contribution to inclusive leadership.

At LV=, under David’s leadership, the mutual has achieved Disability Confident Leader status as part of the UK government’s Disability Confident employer scheme, recognising its approach to recruiting, retaining and developing disabled people. In addition, the mutual has signed up to the Women in Finance Charter and gained recognition as a Financial Times Europe’s Diversity Leader and one of the Financial Times UK’s Best Employers.

Daivd Hynam, LV= Chief Executive Officer, said:

“I’m incredibly proud to be recognised by Involve, particularly alongside so many leaders who are committed to creating fairer and more inclusive workplaces. Inclusion is not a programme or an initiative – it’s about everyday behaviours, meaningful action and ensuring people feel seen, heard and valued.

“At LV=, inclusion is fundamental to who we are as a mutual and how we serve our members, customers, advisers and colleagues. I maintain that building an inclusive culture is an essential foundation for a successful business. This recognition reflects the contributions of all at Team LV=.”

Suki Sandhu OBE, Founder and CEO, INvolve said:

“The Role Model Hall of Fame recognises leaders who have appeared in the Top 10 of any of INvolve’s Role Model Lists for three consecutive years. David has appeared within the top 10 for the Heroes and Outstanding Lists and has appeared in all four Role Model Lists over the years, demonstrating his impact and commitment to driving inclusion. His leadership demonstrates how inclusive practices at the top of organisations can drive meaningful culture change and set a powerful example across the business community.”
