Tim Sargisson has been made CEO of Sandringham Financial Partners, the national advisory business.

Sargisson takes up the position next month. He’s a former CEO of IFG Financial Services Ltd (2005 to 2014) and held senior positions within the IFG Group from 2002 until 2014. This included Managing Director of James Hay Insurance Company Ltd and James Hay Wrap Managers Ltd, where he was responsible for some 32,000 SIPP and Wrap accounts and £13bn of assets.

Chairman of Sandringham Barry Kayes said: “Following our successful growth over the last three years, now is the ideal time to reinforce our overall management structure as we position the business for significant further growth. In particular Tim’s appointment will enable Steve Braidford, as Managing Director, to concentrate on the key activity of partner recruitment and development.”

Sargisson said: “I believe Sandringham Financial Partners has built an excellent platform for its future growth and I am delighted to be joining the team at this important stage in its development.  There are exciting opportunities ahead for our Partners, including the new pension freedoms and auto-enrolment, along with the continuing investment, pension and financial planning needs of today’s clients who are increasingly recognising the value of sound financial advice. I am looking forward to working closely with Steve Braidford (Managing Director) and Tim Grey (Compliance Director), as together we enable Sandringham Financial Partners to benefit from these opportunities.”

Managing Director of Sandringham Steve Braidford said: “Tim brings with him a depth of corporate experience to enable Sandringham to develop from the firm foundation of over 125 Partners which we have established to date.  I am thrilled to welcome him to the business and very much look forward to being able to concentrate my energies on the recruitment and sales aspects of Sandringham Financial Partners, knowing that the back office and infrastructure are in good hands.”
