The power of people managers: 74% of employees are more productive with encouraging managers

Chris Britton, Director of People Experience at Reward Gateway | Edenred, comments:

“The role of people managers has evolved significantly over the last decade. Line managers used to be responsible for just traditional resource and performance management, but now their role encompasses supporting, facilitating, guiding and connecting both teams and individuals across diverse working environments.

“Empowering and enabling managers is a must for organisations seeking to boost productivity and connection across their workforces. The more effectively we enable and empower our people management populations, the more impact leaders will have in developing meaningful relationships with team members and ensuring everyone feels supported and appreciated.”
