With the eyes and ears of UK financial services focused on what Chancellor Hunt will reveal in his Spring Budget at lunchtime today, the good news is that for IFA Magazine readers, we’ll be doing a lot of the heavy lifting here on IFA Magazine’s dedicated ‘BUDGET 2024 NEWS & ANALYSIS SECTION‘
The team and I are poised to bring you all the latest news as it happens. As you might have already noticed, our Budget coverage is already well under way. There are plenty of predictions and lots of early analysis from experts working across the profession as they share their views on what might be in Jeremy Hunt’s Red Box come 12.30 today. Will there be any ‘rabbits out of the hat’ moments? Will he tweak tax on holiday lets? What about Non-Doms? Or SDLT? All of these are under the microscope.

With a report first appearing in The Times yesterday, the BBC reported earlier that Downing Street has now confirmed this as one of the measures to be announced. But what might that look like? There’s plenty of analysis already in on just that in this story you can check out now on IFA Magazine.
