Pictet appoints new head of UK intermediaries for UK and Ireland

Wendy Appleton has been appointed Head of UK Intermediaries, UK and Ireland, by Pictet Asset Management.

Based in London, Appleton will be responsible for developing the distribution business in the UK market and Ireland. She will focus on identifying opportunities with wealth managers, asset managers and intermediaries.

She originally joined Pictet Asset Management in 2008 as head of strategic partnership responsible for UK platforms.

Head of Intermediaries Luca di Patrizi said: “We are delighted that Wendy has accepted the role having already established a successful track record in developing UK third party business.”
