GDPR workshops available to adviser firms

I

The new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which is due to come into force on 25th May this year, requires companies to look in more detail at the personal data they hold. It is forcing companies to scrutinise how they process and handle customer data – and that includes advisory firms.

Companies will need to show they have control over data and are aware of where it is stored; what is stored; why it is stored; and for how long.  Moving to this new way of dealing with client personal data can be challenging and requires both personnel and financial resource.

Jigsaw Tree in collaboration with Mint Blue Consulting are running a series of 1/2 day workshops to give practical help and advice on how to structure your GDPR project to ensure it is in line with ICO regulation.  They will give you steps and measures to put in place in line with the deadline.

Workshops taking place are:

20 February – Birmingham

22 February – Manchester

27 February – London

At just £99+VAT you will cover:

  • The key GDPR areas that will require analysis, investigation and consideration
  • Recommendations on how to structure and tackle the key areas as a project
  • Project resourcing suggestions
  • Discussion on the collective ‘hot topic’ areas of concern
