Financial planning and investment management group Tilney have announced three new appointments.
The company has hired Jules McBride and Matthew Turner as associate advisers.
Both men will join the Bristol office, offering dedicated telephone advice to clients across the region.
McBride worked for Hargreaves Lansdown for eight and a half years before coming to Tilney. He is a chartered financial planner and has been advising for two and a half years.
Turner has spent three years in financial services, focusing on employee benefits consulting. He has held various management roles within the building and automotive industries, acquiring a business management degree whilst working in that arena.
Steven Sprague, head of the Tilney Telephone Advice Service, said:
“I am delighted to welcome Jules and Matthew to our team. Providing specialist advice to clients over the telephone is a very important part of our business and tailors specifically to those clients who do not require ongoing face-to-face service. Our growing team reflects our dedication to these clients and to the South West region.”
The company has also announced the appointment of Bennedetta Peto as Group Chief People Officer, based in London.
Reporting to CEO Chris Woodhouse, Peto will have responsibility over the Group Human Resource department, including the learning and development, talent, reward and recruitment functions. She will also sit on the Tilney Executive Committee.
Peto previously worked at Cabot Credit Management where she was responsible for the people agenda across the group.
Chris Woodhouse, CEO for Tilney, commented:
“Benne brings a wealth of experience to Tilney having successfully helped a number of leading businesses build and develop their teams. As a fast-growing people business with a reputation for professionalism, Benne joins Tilney at a very exciting time.”
