Referendum, the world’s first collaborative brewery

Best of British Beer, an established craft beer retailer, is launching Referendum Brewing on Crowdfunder.co.uk

The retailer said it will be the world’s first 100% collaborative brewery where all the beers are brewed by democracy, even down to the label design.

The idea is that pledges on Crowdfunder are rewarded with membership which provides voting rights, lifetime discounts and most importantly beer.

The members will vote on each stage, producing a beer brewed by democracy.

There is planned two to three brews per year and it will be sold at around 30% below the RRP to members.

At the time of writing, it had raised £1,445, 10% of its £15,000 target, via 12 supporters with 25 days to go.
