Setting standards: CII publishes 2025 qualifications brochure

The Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) has published its 2025 qualifications brochure, offering a range of career and educational pathways for both current and future insurance and personal finance professionals.

This year’s brochure includes a range of qualification options, training programmes and flexible assessments, as well as a focus on revision aids to facilitate effective study. Revision resources include materials available in visual, audio, print and digital formats to meet various learning styles.

For the first time, the CII Professional Map features in the qualifications brochure, emphasising the CII’s focus on professional behaviours as a requirement for career advancement and team development. In line with the Financial Conduct Authority’s Consumer Duty, the market-led competency framework sets out the behaviours and technical expertise required to be a well-rounded professional and drive good customer outcomes.

Nicola Mellor, Qualifications and Assessment Director for the CII, said: “We are delighted to announce the launch of our 2025 qualifications brochure, designed to equip new and existing professionals with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in an evolving market. CII qualifications are the mark of excellence in insurance and financial planning, providing clear pathways for career advancement and professional development. We believe a professional qualification combined with continuous professional development unlock rewarding careers, future-proof business, and help to build public trust.”
