Openwork is pleased to announce the addition of a new professional protection qualification to the Openwork Business School’s curriculum for advisers.
The LIBF Award in Protection Advice from the Walbrook Institute London is a Level 4 qualification designed to enhance advisers’ expertise in protection planning, equipping them with the skills, knowledge and confidence they need to serve the modern protection market.
Across the group, that includes 2plan and Owl, Openwork currently have 1,400 protection advisers and a further 1,924 mortgage advisers who can take advantage of this new offering.
This award is a standalone qualification specifically for advisers who want to specialise in protection and receive external recognition for their expertise in this vital area of advice. Nothing like this currently exists in the market, and Openwork have worked with Walbrook on this groundbreaking new industry qualification.
The Openwork Business School is passionate about helping advisers drive their continuous development. They are constantly looking for innovative ways to add value to our learning initiatives, and this new qualification is a great example of that.
Helen Longland, Business School Principal at The Openwork Partnership, said: “Protection is the cornerstone of financial advice and we are thrilled to partner with Walbrook on this new protection qualification. This underscores the critical role trusted protection advice plays in securing clients’ financial futures. The new qualification – and resulting AdvicePro designation – represents a fantastic opportunity for our protection advisers to further their knowledge and instil even greater trust in the importance of protection advice.”
John Somerville, Director of Financial Services at LIBF, said: “As experts in professional education for the banking and financial services sector, we were delighted to collaborate with Openwork on this bespoke qualification. We hope that through the new LIBF Award in Protection Advice, Openwork’s advisers will be able to provide valuable additional support to their clients.
This exciting news follows the accreditation of the Business School’s Route to Principal programme earlier in the year, further showcasing the value of The Openwork Partnership’s in-house education offering for advisers.
