Mylo launches ‘Postcards from tomorrow’ to inspire pension engagement

Mylo, Aegon’s award winning digital business, has unveiled its immersive campaign, ‘Postcards from tomorrow’, designed to help people picture the life they want in retirement – and take the steps to make it a reality.

The interactive experience, created in partnership with innovative technology company, Waracle, invites users to create a personalised digital postcard showcasing where their retirement could be taking their future selves in retirement ranging from the highlands of Scotland to the cultural delights of Japan. Each postcard links back to Mylo’s smart tools, nudges, and guidance, making pension planning feel more tangible and engaging.

‘Postcards from tomorrow’ launched with workplace members on 30 December 2025, offering a fresh way to approach the new year with positive visualisation and a sense of empowerment about their financial future. The campaign achieved a strong 43% email open rate during the Christmas holidays.

Nick Roy, Commercial Director of Workplace at Aegon, said:

“Our research shows that visualising future goals can transform how people engage with their finances.

“Mylo is a trusted guide that speaks in plain language, reaching users at the moments that matter, like changing jobs or turning 50. With ‘Postcards from tomorrow’, we’re helping people connect emotionally and visualise their future selves, to help take meaningful action today.

“Aegon UK is already a leading workplace pension platform, with over three and a half million customers, now, with the ongoing investment in the business, and the development of Mylo, our commitment to financial wellbeing and digital innovation is helping making pension engagement more accessible for all.”
