HSBC is now offering mortgages through a broker. Run in partnership with Countrywide Mortgage Services, the new service provides residential mortgages for UK properties.
HSBC will retain the responsibility for checking the customers’ affordability and it will underwrite each application. Mortgages up to a maximum of 80% loan-to-value are available through Countrywide.

This is a natural step for us after the launch of our online mortgage service earlier this year and means our award-winning mortgages will be even more widely available to people around the UK.”
