Last night Smart Money People held the awards ceremony for their eighth annual Insurance choice awards.
‘Best big insurance company’ was won by specialist insurance group Ripe Insurance, based on the reviews of their customers on Smart Money People’s website across their suite of products. This was the first year Ripe won the headline category after taking part in the awards for many years, and they took the title from Admiral who were crowned winner in 2022.
The Insurance choice awards took place at The Underglobe London, hosted by comedian Lucy Porter, with over 150 guests in attendance to celebrate. The awards are based on customer reviews left on Smart Money People’s website and recognise the very best in the insurance industry.
Specialist insurers Leisuredays and Insure4Boats were also first-time winners of headline awards, taking home the titles of ‘Customer service champion’ and ‘Treating customers fairly champion’ respectively. Meanwhile, One Call Insurance Services Limited retained their crown of ‘Best overall insurance broker’, also winning ‘Best personal insurance broker’.
Commenting on the results, CEO of Smart Money People Jacqueline Dewey said: “Securing our possessions, protecting our loved ones and gaining peace of mind is arguably more important to us than ever. So it’s great to recognise those going above and beyond during the past year.
