T. Rowe Price appoints new head of EMEA distribution

Global asset manager T. Rowe Price has made senior appointments to its Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and Asia Pacific (APAC) distribution businesses, as part of the firm’s continued buildout of its Americas, Asia Pacific and EMEA (AAE) distribution unit. 

Nick Trueman has been appointed Head of EMEA Distribution, taking the reins from Scott Keller, who is now Head of AAE – a business unit formed at the end of 2021 to leverage synergies and best practiceto support clients from all parts of the world.

Trueman was previously Head of APAC Distribution, having transitioned to the region from Europe in 2013. Trueman joined T. Rowe Price in 2007 in the Global Consultant Relations team, and prior to thiswas a portfolio manager at AXA Rosenberg Investment Management. He started his career with Schroder Investment Management.

Under Trueman’s leadership, T. Rowe Price will continue to execute its multi-year EMEA growth plan, aimed at further strengthening the diversified business as it serves its client base of institutional investors and financial intermediaries. 

 
 

In APAC, Trueman is succeeded by Elsie Chan who joined the organisation in 2015 to build out the financial intermediaries business in Asia.  In 2018 Chan took on an expanded role as Head of Asia ex-Japan Distribution. She has more than 20 years of industry experience, and prior to joining T. Rowe Price she was a Managing Director at UBS Global Asset Management.
