Attivo is launching its own training academy.

The national chartered financial planning and investment management group wants to ensure that their planners, investment managers and para-planners are at the very top of their profession.

Chief executive of Attivo Group Stephen Harper said:  “The regulator has been steadily encouraging the industry towards higher qualifications and better awareness of client needs.  Attivo has always embraced this philosophy.  Our business model starts with our client engagement team and not an adviser, which is unique in this industry.  The launch of the academy formalises our approach.

“The academy will also provide a thorough grounding in all aspects of financial planning and advice provision and will be open to all staff who have a role in the client experience – not just planners and para-planners but also the business-critical client engagement team and other support staff.  Very few IFAs are able to offer this level of training support to their staff and very few larger advice brands are willing to devote a significant sum to develop their people.”

The launch of the academy has taken a year to plan and it will run individual and group-training sessions across a range of technical and issue-led subjects. They will be delivered by a wide range of internal and external specialists.
