Mike Jarrett, Mortgage and Protection Adviser at national independent financial advice firm Continuum is to run the iconic London Marathon to raise money for a local hospice charity.
Mike is taking on the 26.2-mile challenge to raise vital funds for St Peter’s Hospice, a charity in his local Bristol that provides free adult hospice care for everyone that needs their support.
From those diagnosed with a life-limiting illness, to those that care for and about them, St Peter’s provide tailored and holistic care to those in need for over 40 years, free of charge. Within the Hospice or within homes, they provide care without prejudice, whether the needs are physical, emotional, spiritual or social. They help everyone in need to face the future with courage, comfort and dignity.
Mike Jarrett, Mortgage and Protection Adviser at Continuum, said he chose to raise funds for the charity in memory of his father.
He said: “They were fantastic when my Dad fell ill with cancer in 2022. Even though his battle was very short they were on hand to answer any questions over the phone and I’d love to raise as much as possible to help others at such a difficult time.”
