abrdn Multi-Asset Investment Solutions Team Adopts Door

Door, the leading global platform for due diligence, has partnered with abrdn’s multi-asset team to streamline and bolster its due diligence information gathering process.

Earlier this year, abrdn began their implementation of Door with an internal rollout, requesting quarterly due diligence information from abrdn asset management. They will now begin requesting information from third party asset managers as the fully integrate the digital system into their process.

Gathering information through Door reduces the manual effort involved in performing due diligence, creating significant efficiencies for the team and allowing more time for analysis. Streamlining the gathering, monitoring and reporting of funds will help to save time, as well as providing better oversight to ongoing changes and reducing operational risk.

Christopher Carlton, Head of Fund Selection at abrdn says: ‘Using Door has helped us improve our information gathering and saved us time with internal due diligence. We look forward to rolling out to the rest of our managers and seeing the benefits of a fully digital process.’

Rob Sanders, Door CEO said: ‘We are pleased to have abrdn further integrate Door into their business. With the asset manager having been a strong user since the platform first launched, it is great to have the manager research team onboard as well.’

Abrdn joins the growing number of manager research firms adopting the platform in the UK, including Evelyn, Quilter Cheviot, Cazenove, Hargreaves Lansdown, 7IM, FE Fundinfo, and LGIM.
