GAM, one of the world’s leading independent, pure-play asset managers, has appointed Ben Edwards to lead its institutional sales in the UK and Ireland.
Edwards will be based in London and report to Tim Rainsford, Group Head of Distribution. His role is to strengthen the company’s distribution proposition for institutional clients in the region.
He moves from PIMCO, where he was most recently the Head of UK & Ireland Institutional sales. He holds a CFA and a Master’s Degree in Finance from the London Business School.
Rainsford said: “Ben Edwards has a long and successful track record in helping clients meet their investment objectives.
